Makeup question
What do you use for eye makeup remover??? I've tried lots of things but always too oily...any ideas?

If you're using an oily remover, take it off with a damp cotton pad, that will get the oily residue off.

I am using this stuff by Ponds, it's in a clear plastic bottle and is seperated into a clear and a blue layer, you have to shake it up before you use it.

ooh maybe I'll go to Target and get some...you have way sensitive skin too right? I always get a bit paranoid with new products on my face because I break out sooo easy.

Oh, yeah. I used Clinique's eyemakeup remover and damn if my eyes didn't swell shut. I had to take benadryl because the reaction was so bad.

And yeah, I still bust out with hives for no reason from time to time. :-P

Clinque is evil....I spent a butt load on a whole Clinque set a couple of years ago and I swear my face still hasn't recovered.

Geez, the last time I had to think about make-up reover was back in my stage days and I used Pond's cold creme. Nowadays I just wash my whole face with Noxema & it seems to do the trick. But I also rarely wear make-up...so basically I have nothing to say...

It's nice b/c it's like saline almost, not oily. I break out if somebody looks at me funny. I had some allergy issues recently but now that I'm back on the cetaphil, I'm clearing up. It's embarrassing and annoying, being a grown woman having to deal with this nonsense, you know?

yeah i thought crap like that was supposed to go away by the time you were 20. I guess we can wait and see if we still have skin problems in our 30's. Thats a long time away since we are both just 25. :P

Cetaphil is good, and doesn't overpower you with scent when it's on your face. Comes off pretty easily with tissues.
It mixes great with essential oils, when you need a bit of aromatherapy, but I'm starting to digress...

For eye makeup I use Vaseline...works great! and doesn't rub the skin off your eyes. As for the rest of the make up, I use ponds facial cloths and an apricot face scrub afterwards.

I like Mary Kay as well as Lancome's. Lancome seems less oily than Mary Kay though.
