Pie!
As Thanksgiving quickly comes nearer we must remember that this day is a great celebration, but most importantly it is a celebration of pumpkin pie. Pie has been around since ancient Egyptians and I believe can be eaten at anytime of the day...Pie is an any time meal.

I ask that we all take careful consideration and please support The American Pie Council. National Pie Day is quickly approaching... We need to support pies! Here is a list of suggestions from their must-read web site:
How to support Pie:
1) Eat pie (I am doing this right now)
2)Make pie (I will make pie tomorrow)
3)Share pie (who wants to come share my pie?)
4)Teach pie making (line-up for a lesson)
5)Hold a pie night (Jan. 23rd)
6)Hold a pie making contest (how about on national pie day?)
7)Hold a charity pie throwing, pie eating, or pie auction (please people I need to do this!!!)
8) Stage kid's pie activities (I guess the children are invited)
9)Pass along pie memories (I'll give you some memories all right)
10)Eat more pie! (ok...did you know apple pie is good with whip cream?)
11)Do pie stuff (this is my favorite!!! this can include singing pie songs, making pie charts, quoting pie books and pie poems)
