I often have food cravings such as chocolate or pasta. Does anyone ever have "sweetbreads" cravings? This is really quite a nauseating concept. It makes me move closer to the vegetarian line.

As Thanksgiving quickly comes nearer we must remember that this day is a great celebration, but most importantly it is a celebration of pumpkin pie. Pie has been around since ancient Egyptians and I believe can be eaten at anytime of the day...Pie is an any time meal.

I ask that we all take careful consideration and please support The American Pie Council. National Pie Day is quickly approaching... We need to support pies! Here is a list of suggestions from their must-read web site:
How to support Pie:
1) Eat pie (I am doing this right now)
2)Make pie (I will make pie tomorrow)
3)Share pie (who wants to come share my pie?)
4)Teach pie making (line-up for a lesson)
5)Hold a pie night (Jan. 23rd)
6)Hold a pie making contest (how about on national pie day?)
7)Hold a charity pie throwing, pie eating, or pie auction (please people I need to do this!!!)
8) Stage kid's pie activities (I guess the children are invited)
9)Pass along pie memories (I'll give you some memories all right)
10)Eat more pie! (ok...did you know apple pie is good with whip cream?)
11)Do pie stuff (this is my favorite!!! this can include singing pie songs, making pie charts, quoting pie books and pie poems)

Jumping around to The Killers and making brownies and having my fav jeans fit! Also lining up chocolate chips on the counter and systematically eating them realizing this is lunch.

Question: Is the whole "She Wants Revenge" cd good or should I just stick with those 2 songs everyone has heard?

So in realization of having a crap-ass week I have decided to make a list of things that make me happy...
Fall.
Big boots.
Big coats. My fuzzy grey sweater. Drinking a good cup of coffee from a good coffee cup. Dark chocolate. Cats lazing about like they own the place. Giving myself permission to read my annual crappy vampire novel. Sorting through music and figuring out what piece will be added to my repertoire and thus shaping me a little more. Making a chocolate cake and sharing it with friends around a roaring fire. Drinking good port with a bite of bitter chocolate. Not wearing a watch.

I have seen some of the most interesting outfits today....hmmmm Target is breeding, ummm can I say old lady outfits? (that was a very polite way to say it) Feel patriotic people, but really do you need to make a skirt and matching shirt out of flag fabric?

How does one cat cause so many problems? He does normal cat-like things...jumps on the keyboard - no big deal...jumps on the laptop on the top of keyboard rig...BAD BAD BAD KITTY! I caught the laptop as it fell and well the keyboard did fall. I have never had such a clutsy cat.

Day 5:
This is the day that the floors are supposed to be done...ummmm not going to happen.
All of the ugly ass tile is now gone! Floor guy said he is going to start the family room today, so that leaves closet, bathroom, and laundry room. God I hope he is done by the end of the weekend, not holding my breath though.

So we are getting our floors ripped up at our house...thus I'm at my parents house, which is not so exciting, but more fun now since parents went out of town. I want to know...how do you Mac users live with no right mouse button??? aghhh - annoying
I got my new heavy red cincher in the mail and old military hats in mail...woohoo.
Must now go and dance with Chloe and maybe make cookies.
